Nayya is building a centralized Data Science team responsible for delivering insights, recommendations, and supporting day-to-day data needs and decision support to cross-functional stakeholders. We are looking for people who want to leverage data and be able to solve and support complex business problems. The Data Scientist will be responsible for aggregating data from ETL solutions to model solutions for key business initiatives.
In addition to maintaining Nayya’s internal data structure, you will be responsible for developing projects across our platform that include neural networks, and advanced search indices. If you’re a ‘get-things-done’ individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to help build the foundation for a best-in-class data practice from the ground up, then this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Combine knowledge of several research domains to help power decisions at Nayya
- Design new machine learning systems to power the analytics efforts at Nayya
- Improve the statistical methodology backing our experimentation platform
- Build statistical models to predict user behavior and risks to the business
- Adapt machine learning algorithms to solve problems across several teams, such as product, operations, customer support, compliance, and security
Requirements:
- 5+ years of data modeling experience as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer or relevant position
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
- Excellent programming skills, including familiarity with either Python or R programming languages
