Technical Data Analyst

As an analyst at team DLR (Deep Link and Redirection), you will be part of the full product life cycle, provide meaningful insights to help the engineering phase and monitor how users interact and use the product. You will lead strategic projects to improve profitability, continuously come up with new ways to help measure and improve the performance of the different products and engineering services and create new KPIs that will help boost the products to reach the team's OKRs.   

 

What you'll do:

• Provide data analysis on all aspects of the product lifecycle, as you will be working closely with both the engineering teams and the product team.
• Provide ongoing monitoring over huge flows of incoming data.
• Create and maintain monitoring dashboards to improve visibility and debugging capabilities.
• Create data-based alerts to help detect issues as soon they rise and provide data analysis to help find their root cause.
• Provide data analysis to help engineers through sensitive deployments and help improve business logic while working on engineering tasks.
• Come up with new ways to help measure the performance and accuracy of the team’s different services.
• Collaborate with the product team on different product and business-related projects.
• Communicate data findings to business, product, and engineering teams.
• Improve our data modeling and collection procedures.

What you have:

• 1-2 years of experience as a data analysts/product analyst/BI role, preferably in a big-data company.
• Experience working with massive amounts of data.
• Excellent SQL skills.
• Familiar with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, etc.
• Experience creating data pipelines using Python.
• Degree in Industrial Engineer, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• Technical/Engineering orientation.
• The ability to simplify complex data and communicate to a range of stakeholders.
• High level proficiency in written and spoken English.

Bonus Points:

• Experience in Big Query
• Experience working with AWS (Athena, S3, ELB)
• Experience working with Data Bricks or Zeppelin
• Familiarity with Software engineering life cycle
