Are you passionate about research and thrive on the creative freedom to dive into data to find the best insights? The Harris Poll is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and forward-thinking individual to join us as a Social Intelligence Research Manager for our Social Intelligence team. In this role, you will lead end-to-end research projects, help solve clients' business problems, analyze social media posts and language, and put together patterns to create stories that provide insights for market research clients.  Plus, you'll have the opportunity to lead client engagements and collaborate closely with our Director of Social Intelligence.

Job Description

  • Lead social intelligence research projects end-to-end
  • Lead client calls and client relationships
  • Play a crucial role on a small team that provides a unique category of insights for the company
  • Capture online conversations, publications, and other posts using Boolean queries
  • Analyze posts and language using a wide variety of data cuts
  • Investigate conversations for patterns and themes
  • Put those patterns together to create a story that provides insights for market research clients
  • Ensure overall quality of project processes and client deliverables

Qualifications

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • 2 years experience with social listening and social intelligence required
  • 1-3 years experience with social media analysis, language analysis/linguistics, analytics, market research, insights, business intelligence, or consulting experience
  • Must possess proactive leadership skills
  • Experience with social listening tools such as Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Synthesio, etc.
  • Experience and excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • B2B experience preferred
  • Aptitude for data science using R, Python, and other statistical/programming tools (preferred)

Additional Information

Details of Position: 

  • Full-time hourly position reporting to the Director of Social Intelligence.
  • Salary pay range: $70,000 - $85,000  (based on experience).  
  • Remote position: Regardless of work location, this position's assigned work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm Pacific Standard Time.
