Klick Consulting is seeking a high performing, high achieving and passionate Consultant, Data Science to join our growing team. 
Klick Consulting works alongside clients and their businesses to improve patient outcomes in healthcare by providing innovation and digital guidance to global clients operating in life sciences including pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech. Headquartered in Toronto, the team is made up of experts in a variety of disciplines, from business strategy to behavioral science to AI/ML.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying data-driven optimization and growth strategies for clients
  • Designing roadmaps for data, analytics, and AI optimization and growth aligned with client maturity and business goals
  • Facilitating data and analytics problem formulation and achieve agreement & alignment from stakeholders
  • Building and executing data collection and preparation pipelines, data analyses, models and visualizations in collaboration with data scientists, developers and consultants
  • Supporting project planning and management
  • Communicating plans, progress, results, recommendations for data science engagements
  • Maintaining deep knowledge of your projects, data and model assets, analyses and associated pipelines
  • Collaborating with team members across a range of disciplines
  • Participating in business development activities, including contributing to the development of pitches, proposals and SOWs
  • Helping evolve the data science craft including developing internal datasets, tools and capabilities to increase the value proposition for Klick Consulting
  • Engaging directly with a variety of clients ranging from start-ups to publicly traded multinational corporations

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a consulting environment implementing on data and analytics solutions in healthcare and 2+ years experience as a data scientist
  • Post-graduate Master’s or PhD degree in statistics, computer science, applied mathematics, engineering, epidemiology, business administration, business analytics or related fields
  • Experience in consulting engagements (internal or external) is preferredExperience in translating complex business, clinical or operations questions into specifications for data and analytics solutions
  • Experience contributing to multi-stakeholder data science and strategy projects
  • Strong understanding of data science methodologies for analysis, prediction and optimization with demonstrated expertise and implementation track record in at least one methodology such as NLP, machine vision, and mathematical optimization
  • Experience in industry standard programming languages, libraries and environments for data extraction, preparation, model development and deployment, and visualization
  • Ability to propose creative solutions when working with disparate evolving  data streams with varying degrees of structure, ambiguity and quality
  • Excellent communication skills and high level of comfort presenting ideas to a range of audiences ranging from technical experts to executive sponsors
