The Klick Foundry team is seeking a high performing, high achieving, and passionate Data Scientist Intern to join our growing team for a short term contract. The Klick Foundry team designs and develops healthcare services and products to improve patient experiences and outcomes through the application of innovative digital healthcare technologies.  As a Data Scientist Intern, you will be an integral part of the Healthcare AI team working alongside our Product Development team to design, build ML/AI applications. 

You will be responsible for:

  • Using ML/DL and other data mining techniques to get insights from massive datasets, such as publications and drug-related data
  • Utilizing the latest technologies available, designing and building data solutions to support our team’s needs
  • Collaborating with team members across a range of disciplines

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, biomedical science, bioinformatics, data science or related fields
  • Programming skills in one or more of following languages: Python or R for ETL, NLP, feature extraction use cases
  • Practical experience with machine learning or deep learning framework

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Co-op or internship program enrollment is an asset
  • Ongoing Ph.D degree candidate is an asset 
  • Experience using Knowledge graphs with machine learning is an asset
