Director, Data Analytics Solutions

Data movement bottlenecks are the single greatest limiting factor in developing novel hardware for machine learning. We use silicon photonics to break through these barriers, and we're re-architecting the entire AI hardware stack in order to provide multiple-order-of-magnitude improvements in bandwidth and performance. About the job

To complement engineering and manufacturing of Luminous Computing critical components and systems, Data analytics is a critical component of our execution strategy. As the Director of Data Analytics Solutions, you will envision, design, and implement the data collection and analytics infrastructure of our data analytics platform. You will define the platform architecture consistent with the business needs of our product design and manufacturing. In this role you will play a critical role to improve quality, yield, and operational efficiencies of development and manufacturing through development analytics solutions,. This role will require coordination across many internal and external teams and will be visible at the highest levels of the company.

What you will be doing:

• Establish the data collection architecture from our test systems used in engineering labs as well manufacturing production lines.
• Selection of tools software tools for data storage, processing and visualization.
• Define test system infrastructure.
• Work closely with architecture, hardware, software, and manufacturing operations teams to ensure consistency and data collection effectiveness.

Requirements

• 5+ years direct industry experience in semiconductor and optics components design and manufacturing.
• 10+ years of experience in data analytics and manufacturing process improvement
• Proven track record of implementing and scaling data analytics platforms
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Additional Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Knowledge in ML algorithms
• Python, C/C++
