Senior Data Analyst (Rocket Growth)

Job Overview:

Rocket Growth is a Coupang Fulfillment business that enables sellers to offer best-in-class delivery and post purchase experience to customers. With Rocket Growth, sellers’ products get the Jet Delivery badge and are delivered to customers via Coupang’s Rocket delivery network.

As a Data Analyst for Rocket Growth, you will be owning and driving critical decision making across a range of ambiguous problems using data. You will be structuring the data, defining constraints, parameters, and decision variables, and running simulations to optimize business outcomes and facilitate business decision making. You have a mindset that constantly challenges the status quo, and you possess a high degree of decision-making acumen. You are not afraid to disagree, love working with data, analyzing the data to come up with insights and possess the panache to work with a diverse set of stakeholders to align them to common goals and decisions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Utilize code (Python, SQL, etc.) for extracting, analyzing, and structuring data to facilitate insightful business decision making

· Build decision models using statistical tools

· Run simulations and build optimizing models factoring in constraints and a wide range of variables and outliers

· Build reporting tools, measure performance, and provide insights explaining variances

 

Qualifications:

· 3+ years of relevant working experience in an analytical role involving data extraction, analysis, statistical modeling, and communication

· 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL)

· Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal & external business partners

· Tableau or Power BI management experiences

 

Preferred:

· Proficiency in statistical software package such as Python

· Strong knowledge of statistics

· Experience in forecasting and trend analysis

· Ability to present the analysis outcomes using insightful and easy to understand spreadsheets and presentations

· Ability to convey rigorous technical concepts and considerations to non-experts

· Analytical thinker, quick decision maker, diverse set of experiences enabling a wide perspective to observe problems from various angles and create the best possible solution for customers and internal stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

· 직관적인 비즈니스 의사결정을 위해 SQL/Python등을 활용하여 데이터 추출/분석

· 여러 통계적 방법론을 사용하여 결정모델 수립

· 비즈니스 제약사항, 변수, 의사결정 등을 반영하여 시뮬레이션/최적화 모델 수립

· BI 리포트 등으로 비즈니스 주요 지표들을 측정하고 변동 원인을 분석

 

Qualifications:

· 데이터 분석가로서 데이터 추출 및 분석, 통계모델링, 커뮤니케이션 업무를 수행한 경력 3년 이상

· SQL 사용 경험 3년 이상

· 커뮤니케이션에 능숙하고 내/외부 이해관계자와의 관계를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 분

· Tableau / Power BI 등 BI 리포트 도구 사용 경험

 

Preferred:

· 모델링/통계 분석을 위한 언어 및 패키지 등에 익숙하신 분 (Python, R 등)

· 뛰어난 통계 분석 기술

· 예측/트렌드 분석모델 개발 경험

· 직관적이고 이해하기 쉬운 스프레드시트/프레젠테이션 작성 능력

· 전문적이고 기술적인 내용을 쉽게 풀어서 전달할 수 있는 능력

· 넓은 시야로 문제를 파악하고 다양한 각도에서 고민한 후 고객과 내부 이해관계자들을 위한 최적의 솔루션을 도출하는 능력
