The Challenge

We are looking for a self-motivated Data Science/NLP QA Engineer to be part of a team that builds and enhances online collaboration solutions for our healthcare clients. This position has the unique ability to drive the architecture of quality engineering solutions within this team.

Requirements

What you can expect from the opportunity

• Work closely with AI engineers, Data Engineers, and DevOps to architect, develop, automate and maintain gray/white-box processes.
• Design and implement unit and integration tests covering machine learning models with a variety of data sets.
• Architecting, implementing, and improving quality engineering solutions for the product.
• Create statistical robustness tests for trained models
• Create simulated dataset replicating real-world scenarios.
• Debug and define corrective action.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test suites using programming languages such as Python or Ruby
• Track quality assurance metrics.
• Create UI test automation suites for web based applications.

What you need to grow and succeed

• 5-10 years of experience in quality engineering or software development for analytics and NLP products
• Strong test engineering experience in:
  • API and REST
  • Cloud-based deployments
  • Automated reporting
• Strong technical experience with:
  • Languages: Node, Python, and Ruby
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, Couchbase, and other time series and graph databases
  • Data and Schema Validators: Colander, Schema or similar tools based on language.
  • API/REST Testing Tools: GraphQL, Postman, Jest, SuperTest, or similar
  • Test Automation:
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Heroku, or similar
  • Cloud Monitoring: Data Dog, ELK, etc. New Relic (Synthetics a huge plus)
  • Source Data: Sidekiq
• Experience architecting, building, and deploying data scale and API limits
• Strong experience architecting new quality engineering solutions
• Comfortable being the sole quality engineer on a team
• Experience with NLP softwar
