We work remotely across the country and are always looking for exceptional individuals to join us.    As a member of the Data Science team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining machine learning models for incredibly diverse and complex set of problems, including optimization, automation, prediction, inference, and behavioral science. We value a strong foundation in traditional algorithms as well as outside-the-box solutions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design, develop, and evaluate statistical and ML models to drive business transformation and growth
  • Design and execute experiments to extract insights and make recommendations
  • Strive to constantly improve model performance
  • Evaluate third-party data as a potential feature input to models
  • Develop contextualized feature sets using insurance-specific domain knowledge
  • Document modeling work and present to stakeholders and other technical and non-technical partners

We're looking for someone who:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
  • ·Master’s or Ph.D in a quantitative discipline, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics
  • Deep understanding of statistics, machine learning, and causal inference methods
  • Exceptional coding skills in SQL and Python
  • Demonstrated understanding of machine learning model performance assessment
  • Strong data analysis and scientific thinking skills
  • Experience with deep learning algorithms

Highly preferred candidates also have:

  • Experience in InsurTech domain
  • Experience with deploying and monitoring models in Production
