WHAT TO EXPECT

As a Software Release Engineer within our Charging Software Validation Chapter you’ll be part of a dynamic and innovative team that validates the charging system software to ensure we deliver our charging systems on time and to quality. The main activity for this role is to develop test cases from requirements to validate our in-house software using the latest HIL and test automation capability.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Responsible for testing software applications or systems software
• Develop and execute test plans and scripts designed to detect problems, working with System Design Engineers, ensuring the results are repeatable and accurate
• Responsible for ensuring test cases are linked back to requirements and standards
• Support preparation of test facility and/or test parts to enable effective and test results on time
• Enable the verification of functional and non-functional requirements

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Experience of requirements evaluation and test case development
• Knowledge in root cause examination and debugging system failures
• Programming skills in a range of languages such as Python / C & C++, OR MATLAB
