Your role in our mission

  • Serve as analyst in T-MSIS and DSS data processing and reporting.
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills to resolve operational problems and improve reporting performance.
  • Quantitative data analysis skills for analyzing member, provider, claims, and encounter data. 
  • Ability to summarize technical claim, provider, and member data and explain it to less-technical team members.
  • Utilize Data Warehouse and other relational databases, using SQL, to perform investigative studies to identify errors or weaknesses in T-MSIS or DSS processed data
  • Support the preparation of responses to questions from CMS/Mathematica/EDS/IBM, as required.
  • Map and develop missing values in T-MSIS and DSS data and test recent changes to the T-MSIS and DSS processes.
  • Prepare Source-To-Target (S2T) revisions, as required, from changes or additions to the extract process utilized for TMSIS and DSS interfaces.
  • Develop test plans for individual data quality issues; to include DEV, SIT, and UAT testing.
  • Leverage strong analytical skills to check data quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, discuss findings with business users and coordinate with development team to resolve.
  • Provide support for the identification and resolution for T-MSIS data quality issues and DSS inquiries.
  • Support technical and data teams on the achievement of target T-MSIS data quality and completeness.

What we're looking for

  • Three (3) or more years of Data Analyst experience.
  • Three (3) or more years experience of MMIS, Healthcare systems, Medicaid, Chip data and Healthpass.
  • Three (3) or more years of SQL and SSIS experience.
  • Experience with TMSIS (Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System).
  • Understanding of test strategies, with experience drafting test plans and leading testing engagements, to include DEV, SIT, and UAT testing.

  • Work remotely within the United States.
  • Candidate selected must work in EST time zone.
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is $49,400.00 - $70,600.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
