The Lead Associate, Data Analyst Private Revenue Fundraising plays a central role in facilitating changes to Save’s CRM database in support of fundraising efforts at Save the Children. This role continuously works with BTS, Finance, and fundraising divisions to execute projects for system improvements, data and trend analysis, and ensures data and financial continuity. You will provide customized reporting on major and planned giving revenue, prospect interaction, and work to ensure proper stewardship of existing donors as well as broader organizational level analytics such as budget vs. actual reports.
What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
- Ensure donor data integrity in CRM database 20%
- Support departments to ensure integrity of business rules and that donor records are correctly coded.
- Dashboard Maintenance 20%
- Ensure correct coding of constituent classification and Prospect Manager for donors in Partnerships & Philanthropy which includes researching donors and their linked records; informing prospect managers of inconsistency between CRM records; merging and clean-up of duplicate records; updating constituency codes; and running queries.
- Support teams on data management projects.
- Reporting, Analysis and Architecture 35%
- Create reports for various teams within fundraising divisions, and work with marketers and prospect managers to analyze donor data.
- Be a voice within new reporting systems to ensure useful and productive outcomes
- Participate in projects focused on integrating new systems/tools such as Salesforce and Tableau and expanding on existing systems.
- Prospect Management System 25%
- Serve as focal point for Prospect Management System and related troubleshooting matters, as well as training staff on best practices to ensure uniformity and consistency in documentation.
- Work in coordination with the BTS team to scope out feasibility and timing of any changes to the Prospect Management System.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis especially with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Demonstrated experience with CRM Querying and advanced data collection
- Demonstrated experience with database management
- Professional proficiency in MS Office suite and Access
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining and environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
Compensation
Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:
- Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $66,300 – $74,100 base salary
- Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $60,350 – $67,450 base salary
- Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $54,400 – $60,800 base salary
The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US, salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location (more information on job structure is available here). Employee may be eligible for an incentive program.
