We’re searching for a Project Manager to join Aurora's ML Data Engine team.

On the Data Engine team you will join a world-class group exploring computer vision, machine learning, and state of the art data annotation with machine in the loop tooling. In this role, we are looking for an exceptional project manager to join our team that thrives while managing projects, coordinating operations, and authoring workflows that help our team deliver best-in-class data. If your passions align with working on cross functional teams to deliver the highest quality data and building the right processes to deliver, the Autonomy Data team could have the perfect opportunity for you.

In this role, you will

  • Communicate project updates, progress, and blockers quickly and broadly
  • Work closely with partner team leads to refine requirements and set and maintain expectations throughout the duration of the project
  • Set clear vision for the project team and stakeholders
  • Ensure the project team remains unblocked in their work and any conflicts are resolved in a responsible manner
  • Ensure projects are adequately resourced for the agreed upon scope
  • Coordinate and act upon retrospectives as we look to adjust (including adding or removing) any processes based on project data
  • Work with both internal and external stakeholders - including vendor teams - to produce high quality ground truth annotations

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and collaborative environment
  • Experience in process improvement with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and inclusive communication skills with the ability to interact with and influence at all levels
  • Ability to convey complex information across multiple levels within the organization and to external stakeholders
  • Have the ability to work independently, without the need for day-to-day guidance 
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders within ambiguous situations and capacity constraints 
  • 3+ years experience in program or project management
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience managing large-scale projects with competing resources and priorities
  • Ability to communicate complex requirements, exude influence, and initiate change with multiple stakeholders and across multiple levels of the organization
  • Data driven with an ability to translate trends into actionable plans and strategies
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and computer vision
  • Consistent track record of successful delivery while maintaining project discipline
  • Strong ownership and ability to influence others 
  • Proactively anticipate customer needs and facilitate solutions to address their needs
