Senior Power BI Developer

Description

We are looking for great people to join our team here at ProArch, working at the forefront of innovation and customer success in the Azure data space. We are looking for a talented Senior PowerBI Developer to join us and help shape data models and reports for our customers across the globe. Our team is multi-talented and full breadth cloud consulting organization working across Business Intelligence, Data, AI, Software Development Cybersecurity and Cloud Infrastructure.

Our requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to understand our businesses and work with customers to design reports
• A solid understanding of how PowerBI fits together (Desktop, Service, Pro, Premium, Embedded, Direct Query, Import, etc)
• The ability to build complex PowerBI reports (DAX, Measures, Calculated Columns, PowerQuery / M, Relationships, Models, Bookmarks, etc)
• Solid SQL skills (select, joins, groups, aggregates, having, windows, etc)
• A proactive self-starter, who likes to solves challenges and make progress
• Comfortable working in a team or as an individual contributor

• Good data modelling skills (e.g., relationships, entities, facts, and dimensions)
• Also hands on experience in Tableau is mandatory

A nice to have would be experience with, or knowledge of Azure Data Engineering (Python/PySpark, Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lakes, Git/Source Control etc). If you don’t have these skills but would like to learn more about them, that works for us too!
