Your role
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will collaborate with other experienced scientists and engineers to develop cutting-edge valuation and forecasting systems for the real estate market.
You will manipulate a wide range and variety of data, identify patterns that impact prices in the real estate market, and use specific Machine Learning approaches to design innovative solutions. A significant part of your work will also be dedicated to model productionalization and to our international expansion.
Overall, you will strive at Price Hubble and in the Data team if you value elegant and highly efficient engineering, and derive your satisfaction from delivering reliable products that delight customers.
Responsibilities
Through your contributions, you will help to:
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in a variety of internal and external sources. Handle potentially incomplete datasets.
- Create, implement, test and optimize scalable models and algorithms.
- Extend and improve existing internal ML libraries and frameworks by designing new features and providing innovative ideas.
- Define, measure and automate quality assurance for your models and datasets.
We will also expect you to stay at the forefront of ML engineering and data management best practices in the industry.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics with at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Strong experience in Machine Learning model development and productionalization.
- In-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, and analyse significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong programming experience with Python and ability to write high-quality production code.
- You can design architectures to solve problems at scale.
- You value end to end ownership of projects, simplicity and getting the right things done.
- Eager to grow and learn, and to help create an harmonious engineering culture.
- Structured, didactic communicator and able to mentor other engineers and scientists.
- Knowledge of our tech stack (or similar technologies) is an advantage: Pandas, Airflow, PySpark, Tensorflow, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Docker.
- Comfortable working in English; you have a great read, good spoken command of it.
