Data Analyst

We are looking for a Data Analyst to analyze, synthesize, and visualize key product data and user feedback into actionable insights for improved customer and business outcomes.
At Nightfall, we use ML/NLP to detect and protect sensitive personal, health, financial, and credential information in real time. Working with Engineers and Data Scientists, you will build analytics to help us better understand the real-time and trending usage, operations, and performance of our ML/NLP system. You will contribute directly to the core product. 

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data analysis tools including data collection and visualization with SQL and no-SQL databases
• Deliver business analysis reports based on customer requirements. 
• Solicit demands and feedback from users, translate quantitative data and insights into product ideas and informed design decisions;
• Analyze, evaluate and align the interests from multiple teams including machine learning, machine learning infrastructure, UX designers, and product managers to build consensus on prioritization, define processes and drive product execution
• Design, develop, maintain, and manage ML/NLP product dashboards, enabling real-time and trending insights into model usage, detection rates, customer engagement, and model performance.
• Create engaging data visualizations delivering key metrics at a glance and enabling expedited diagnostic problem-solving
• Work with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to collect and synthesize customer feedback into actionable insights, improving customer and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering or technical business analysis
• B.S. in Computer Science or relevant business or engineering fields
• 2+ years of experience in writing SQL software with production quality, Snowflake is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in Data Visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Data Studio, etc.
• 2+ years of experience in data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting
• Ability to turn business requirements into measurable metrics
• Ability to deep dive into technical issues with a thorough architectural understanding of the underlying products
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, being flexible and willing to jump in and do whatever it takes to be successful
