Data Engineer

Come to Insider Inc to build great data products!  We are looking for an engineer to join our data team, where you will be responsible for partnering with international engineering teams, developing new features of our data stack, and working with data science and analytics teams to make the business work better and go faster.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product owners to understand data needs and scope out technical solutions for data challenges
• Design and implement cloud based data architecture, and support feature enhancements to the data warehouse
• Discover new opportunities to automate ELT, reporting, and other analytics tasks to drive efficiency and optimize business operations company wide
• Explore and identify new tools and techniques to help push our stack
• Work with product owners and data scientists to ensure data quality and integrity through data collection, processing and distribution

What we are looking for:

• Excellent in Python and SQL
• Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical audiences
• Experience translating data needs into deliverables to meet business goals
• Self-directed, supremely curious, and detail-oriented
• Team player who's able to collaborate across functions
• Familiarity with Snowflake

Bonus points:

• Have worked in media
• Experience with time series data
• Infrastructure as code
