Data Analyst

IT Concepts is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support our engagement with The United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA).

The United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA) requires support for the implementation of an artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) solution that will help filter spam from incoming communications, and reclaim time spent manually removing spam from all incoming communications. As a Data Analyst you will be part of a team helping USDA achieve mission success.

Duties

• Report all relevant analytical findings from the analysis of USDA and non-USDA data sources and high-level quantitative metrics to inform client of project progress

• Conduct queries and data collection and compile robust dataset
• Assist in the development of driving decision points and process flows, and highlight potential opportunities for intervention
• Develop formal briefing documents to be presented to USDA leadership and other stakeholders identified by USDA staff
• Develop briefs presenting a compelling business case and make a recommendation on next steps
• Present relevant data findings in the form of a presentation deck, report, etc. and be used to inform project development decisions

• Document user stories/requirements and wrangle training and test data.
• Validate model outcome quality and assist in the developing the design documentation
• Support project management functions as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degrees

• Four (4) years of data analysis experiencing supporting federal agencies
• Excellent at identifying and solving problems
• Must be a U.S Citizen
• Fluency in intelligent automation, AI/ML concepts and uses, and/or data

Preferred

• Experience with USDA IT implementation efforts
• Agile approach experience and/or familiarity with supporting cloud projects
