Job Description:-

• Deep understanding of software testing and processes: whole bug life cycle, different testing levels, methods, and types, test estimation techniques
• Ability to work in an Agile environment
• Critical thinking and Analytical skills to examine bug reports and prioritize necessary tests, what information to include in the daily status reports, prioritize and estimate task execution
• Good communication and teamwork skills to interact with project team members and stakeholders as well as work closely with the dev team – from reproducing the reported issue and emphasizing the fix for critical bugs to understanding how the bug has been fixed
• Programming skills must include coding, SQL knowledge to extract data for tests, general web development skills, and web services

Experience Level:-

• 4-8 years

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Design, develop and deliver various product test automation solutions
• Code and Test case review
• Mentor and develop various team members
• Ensure tracking, reporting and resolution of issues in a timely manner
• Coordinate and collaborate with a broader Data team including Data Architects, Data Scientists, Other Data Engineering Teams, Business Intelligence and Visualization Teams.
• Lead and drive Quality Engineering initiatives

Skills and Capabilities:-

• Strong programming experience using Java
• Strong experience Selenium and TestNG
• Strong experience on JMeter/Postman
• ​​Hands on experience in working with ETL Testing and work experience with testing RDBMS databases
• Experience of Load testing - Docker based multi load instances of JMeter
• Experience with Web, API and/or Mobile testing 
• Good to have BDD frameworks like -Gherkins & Cucumber
• Experience in Build and CICD tools like Maven,Jenkins, Github Actions
• Experience in writing high performance regression suite for Distributed systems
• Can set up of multiple pipelines jobs for enabling continuous delivery and integration and reducing test effort
• Testing and Quality Assurance experience of Data Warehouse environments (Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse desirable)
