Protiviti is looking for a Technology Consulting Associate Director to join our growing Emerging Technologies AI ML team.

We are seeking a talented and experienced AI Technical Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing and architecting advanced AI solutions that leverage the compute power of cloud platforms. 

 

As an Associate Director, you'll take a lead role in strengthening our relationships with clients and providing seamless guidance in the completion of engagements. You'll partner with our strategic clients to manage risk associated with their use of AI technology.  You'll develop strategies to solve complex business problems using new ways of thinking, and devise solutions to support your clients' needs through AI tools and methods. You’ll develop new projects, help identify new business, and build lasting relationships with clients and within the community as you serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market. You will also be a mentor and provide growth and development to teams as you oversee the successful completion of project work plans. 

What Will Help You Be Successful:  

• As an AI Technical Architect, you will be at the forefront of our AI initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art AI solutions for our clients.  

• You collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive AI solution designs.  

• You leverage your expertise in cloud platforms to architect scalable, reliable, and cost-effective AI-enabled systems. 

• You provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. You guide and mentor development teams, data scientists, and engineers in implementing best practices for AI solution development, deployment, and maintenance. 

• You utilize your in-depth knowledge of AWS, GCP and Azure services to architect solutions that leverage cloud-based infrastructure, services, and tools.  

• You ensure optimal utilization of cloud resources to achieve high performance and cost efficiency. 

• You ensure security, privacy, and compliance considerations are addressed in all stages of development. 

• You stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, cloud computing, and related technologies. Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and methodologies that enhance the capabilities of our AI solutions. 

• You engage with clients to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and present solution designs. You also collaborate with clients to refine solutions, address concerns, and align technical aspects with business goals. 

• You view client challenges as opportunities to add value and can translate that into new project proposals and sales.  

• You are seen as a valued contributor to thought leadership and encourage knowledge-sharing and collaboration across teams. 

• You have interest in managing a diverse portfolio of clients across industries.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?  

• Proven experience (7+ years) as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role in AI solution design and implementation. 

• Experience integrating AI and machine learning components into existing or new systems, ensuring seamless interaction between AI models and other software components. 

• Expertise in Solution design, technical leadership, cloud expertise, AI integration, emerging technologies, client collaboration. 

• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure. 

• Strong background in AI, machine learning, and deep learning concepts. 

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. 

• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and deployment technologies. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically. 

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and clients. 

• Leadership and direct supervisory experience of teams including conducting performance appraisals, mentoring and coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.   

• Successfully pursuing business development opportunities and identifying and implementing strategies to obtain new work or clientele.  

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Decision Science, Applied Math or equivalent preferred.   

• 9+ years in a related field; preferably in professional services and/or industry  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access. 

• Professional Certifications such as AWS and Azure (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus. 

 

Our Hybrid Workplace 

Protiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements vary by client, project, team, and other business factors. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local or out-of-state travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.

$167,000.00 - $284,000.00

Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.

$193,720.00 - $329,440.00

Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
