Senior Machine Learning Scientist, Image Enhancement

Picsart is looking for a Sr. Machine Learning Scientist who is interested in developing new technologies for real-world image and video editing problems. The team is mainly working on state-of-the-art image/video representation models and processing algorithms. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable with theoretical thinking and software development.

• Research and develop an unified framework for image/video enhancement tasks.Topics included but not limited to: Video/Image Semantic Segmentation; Image latent representation, Diffusion models, Autoregressive models, Generative adversarial models; Neural Architecture Search
• Create and implement non-standard, fresh and creative scientific ideas to improve or speed up existing technologies
• Push the ideas to improve the quality of designed models in terms of product requirements
• Support and justify the new ideas with a theoretical and intuitive basis
• Collaborate with product managers and dive deeper into the usage of the research, brainstorm with the product team on developing new creative ideas
• Follow up and support the development of models in an end-to-end manner: from design to production
• Analyze, Interpret and explain outcomes of non-trivial experiments
• Analyze the data used in experiments, understand the subtleties of it, modify appropriately if necessary
• Communicate with data and product teams, write clear and understandable research requirement documents
• Collaborate with other scientists, exchange novel and interesting ideas, and reflect these ideas in the research process.

• 3+ years of industry working experience in machine learning, deep learning (on computer vision tasks)
• Has or currently is in the process of obtaining a PhD degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or other related fields
• Experience in continuous development of ML/DL models and supporting them in the production
  
• Experience in leading teams or mentoring is a plus
• Experience in creating ML models for mobile devices is a plus
• Experience in C++ is a plus
• Experience in GANs is a plus
• Experience in classic computer vision approaches is a plus.
