Cloud Data Engineer - GCP BigQuery Specialist

Want to join us?

From experience, the ideal candidate will have:

• Significant experience in designing, developing, and troubleshooting large production-grade data systems on Google Cloud Platform and being able to select the appropriate tools to solve business problems
• Strong proficiency in writing SQL and BigQuery SQL tuning
• Expert-level knowledge of  BigQuery and be able to optimize usage of it
• Proven track record in architecting performant and highly-scalable data systems
• Understanding and experience implementing various architectural patterns in creation of data warehouse or data lake architectures
• Great verbal and written communication skills

Preferred (not required):

• Experience in designing and implementing data solutions on Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, or other data warehouse solutions
• Experience integrating BigQuery and Looker or other BI visualization tools
• Experience with ETL tools such as Apache Beam, Apache Airflow, SSIS, or others
• Experience in writing software in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Go
• Experience with GCP AI and ML platforms
• Google Certified Professional Data Engineer
