So, here’s the low down.

As a Kolmean (that’s what we call our team members), you’ll have both a job title, like Data Engineer, and a squad. Together, you’ll tackle spicy challenges, like how to streamline payments between tenants and owners, for example. Or how to save property managers time in their day-to-day tasks using AI. You’ll have tasks that you’re responsible for on your own, as well as tasks you’ll contribute to as part of larger company-wide projects.

Requirements

Here’s what we’re looking for

Kolmeo is on the hunt for a Data Engineer to design and implement big data technologies through the application of high performance computing, large scale data integration and emerging analytical platforms. As a superstar within the Data team, you’ll work alongside the Head of Data to maintain Kolmeo’s extensive data and reporting systems, drive business outcomes and operational efficiency though data and insights and assist with the migration of customer data into Kolmeo systems to support the Data team.

A day in the life of a Kolmeo Data Engineer 

• Collect and interpret data, identifying patterns and trends in data sets
• Derive insights and forecasts and data quality assessment and remediation
• Data mapping and building and maintaining data pipelines
• Create reports/data visualisation 
• Identify and implement process enhancements

To hit this job out of the park, you MUST have:

• Previous experience in a software development (preferably SAAS) environment
• Experience in Agile delivery methodologies, rituals, and applications
• Able to adapt to new and changing techniques
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data
• Experience with SQL database design and designing, developing and publishing data ETL pipelines
