Data Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

MorphWorks is currently seeking a Data Analyst who will directly partner with the client’s Program Team. This role will be part of the MorphWorks team supporting our client and taking direction directly from client representatives, while also being supported by the MorphWorks client team leader. He/She should be someone that excels at working with data and determining ways to use it to solve problems. This includes working across multiple client organizations to support all related activities. Key responsibilities include monitoring databases and running standard reporting, with the ability to identify anomalies and troubleshoot to eliminate them. The Data Analyst is expected to actively participate in developing and executing the client’s strategy.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or the equivalent in experience
• Experience providing data analysis and consulting services in an IT environment
• Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to define, collect, and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make fact-based recommendations
• Experience with programming languages SAS, SQL, and Python
• Experience working with a database code book
• Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong mathematical skills
• Ability to work both independently and with a team within a collaborative client environment
• Experience working across departmental lines within a larger organization
• Required ability to successfully meet U.S. Public Trust clearance requirements including proof of U.S. citizenship, background checks (including national fingerprint record checks and drug testing), and/or criminal history investigations. This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Data Visualization
• Experience leading projects, including creating schedules and other key artifact
• Understanding and experience working in/around an agile methodology
