To follow Qonto's ambition, we created the Data Department, handling Data Analysis, Engineering, and Science. The data department has since grown from 5 to 40+ people within two years (and we're still hiring)! 
As a Lead Analytics Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Data Pipelines team to build our next-generation Data Platform. You will lead and grow the Analytics Engineering team who stages the relevant transformations from the Data lake to the Data warehouse to ensure efficient data models.
What’s our Data platform? It covers a key function: providing high-quality and available data to all Qontoers using Modern Data Stack (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Tableau). And in particular, it provides data to all data teams: BI, Data Science,  and Data Products. 

👩‍💻🧑‍💻As a Lead Analytics Engineer at Qonto, you will
Build your Team : 
•Recruit, build and manage a team of 2 to 4 Analytics Engineer,• Orient and support your team through regular feedback, 1:1 sessions, pairing sessions, mentoring, and quarterly progress reviews,• Drive the delivery of your team to reach their objectives,• Foster collaboration with Data Pipeline and BI team.

Build our Data Platform:
• Build and maintain the data modeling layers: you will make sure meaningful data is accessible and ready for analysis,• Work closely with Data Pipeline: together, you'll schedule, enhance and monitor the daily data transformation pipelines,• Work closely with Data Analysts: together, you'll develop and design analytical projects,• Ensure high quality by establishing and using the best engineering practices,• Design, build, test, document, run, review and maintain production code in Python,• Train other team members: As we're keen on enabling our colleagues with self-service data features, you will need to train your colleagues on the tooling that you set up for them.

•Restructure the Data model: make it minimal and efficient •Everyone at Qonto will be able to find the data they are looking for without even having to ask •Thanks to your work, Data Analysts will be able to develop dashboards twice as better in half the time •Foster a strong bond and team spirit into your team

- His background? Before joining Qonto, Jeremie was an associate professor at Telecom Paris and Telecom SudParis. He led data teams for some of France's most reputed digital companies and still advises several deep tech startups. He teaches at Ecole Polytechnique and co-authored over 50 scientific papers.
- What does he bring to the team? Jeremie defines a clear vision and path to success for our data platform, BI, data science analytics, and data products teams. He ensures they operate efficiently and have a smooth collaboration with other departments at Qonto. He also helps them continuously learn new skills while improving their existing ones and is still very involved in the hiring of his teams.
