Here’s what you will do

Our Data Management consultants identify, design and then implement the data capabilities that enable our clients to succeed in maturing and enabling the effective use of their captured data, to deliver real intrinsic value to downstream activities such as data analytics and artificial intelligence. Combining delivery best practices with the latest technologies, we help solve complex business challenges. Typically, our data management work covers all areas outlined in the DAMA framework, with a core focus on: implementing master data management tooling; defining data policies & standards; designing and embedding data quality metrics, tools and procedures; as well as ensuring that data access controls and security models enable the safe dissemination of data.

What we look for in our Data Management Consultants?

• Define the organisation’s approach to data governance, data quality & data management to address issues like poor data value, lack of access control and lack of usability and understandability of data assets, as well as regulatory compliance issues such as GDPR 
• Have practical, hands-on, implementation experience with master data management tooling (e.g. Informatica Axon, Collibra, Solidatus)
• Deliver data management programmes to implement operating models, processes and behaviours, as well as provide specialist advice on how to execute specific data programmes (such as data lineage, metadata management and data governance)
• Be able to advise clients, run proof of concepts and embed applicable data management tooling across various industries

• Guide C-Suite clients in their data journeys

Who you are?

As a data management consultant within Credera, you will have the following knowledge & experience:

• Knowledge of a wide variety of data-related technologies and products and their applicability to various use cases, enterprises and sectors

• Experience of delivering complex data-centric solutions at scale, preferably within Financial Services, Public Sector, Energy, or Telecommunications industries
• Knowledge of cloud based infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google) and their related architecture patterns 
• Prior experience of delivering complex engagements either as a technical leader or a senior technical member of a team
• Experience of full delivery life cycle coupled with the ability to deliver significant impact, quickly 
• A proven ability to develop strong relationships and be able to influence colleagues, senior client stakeholders, partners, suppliers

• Be able to run client-facing workshops & interviews, defining and capturing relevant requirements and develop data related business cases
• Ability to support on data related sales pitches to perspective clients both new and existing
• Be able to deliver across a range of delivery frameworks (e.g. Agile)

• Able to work collaboratively 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities 
• Consulting knowledge and experiences 
• Self-starter, with a desire to learn business subjects
• Flexibility to travel to, and work in, other locations
• Strong communication, presentation and business writing skills along with the ability to manage and build strong relationships both internally and externally

• Effort, deliverables and outputs are consistently realised within a committed time frame

Desirable skills:

• Fluency in an additional European language
• Hold qualifications in CDMP (DAMA-DMBOK) and DCAM

Hours

This is a permanent role within our Technology function. We consider flexible ways of working, that allow the best outcomes for our people and clients. Working closely with our clients is key to successful outcomes, and so travel both UK and international is a requirement.
