About the Role   

As a Data Analyst in the Global Network Strategy and Operations team, you will hold a highly visible analytical role that requires interaction and partnership with leaders across the businesses. 

You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing dashboards to produce visually compelling reporting solutions (reports, dashboards, cubes, interfaces, etc.) You will be responsible for running queries or scripts that power these dashboards; you will need to be proficient in SQL & Python and have the ability to build the fundamental tables that will be used by the rest of the organization as a source of truth to track performance.  

This is a high-impact role where the insights provided will directly impact the bottom line of the business. You will work extensively with all the operations teams within the Network division as well as with product management teams, marketing teams, technical teams, and help find opportunities to assess efficiency and grow the business. You should be an expert in developing and analyzing large data sets, enjoy diving deep into data analysis, discovering root causes, and designing long-term solutions.   

What You'll Do   

• Collaborate with product managers, ops & engineers to build and improve on the availability, integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data logging and data pipelines 
• Work with the Central Internal Analytics and Data Engineering teams to design, build and test the multi-source basic tables to be used as a single source of truth to track network performance 
• Maintain key metrics, dashboards & reports (Tableau, Google Sheets) 
• Conduct deep-dive data analysis for business insights and recommendations   
• Develop and maintain key BI data tables that are used to create dashboards & reports   
• Design and develop metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business and product decisions to improve product performance and influence product strategy   

What You'll Need   

• M.S. or bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields. (If M.S. degree, a minimum of 1+ years of industry experience required and if bachelor's degree, a minimum of 2+ years of industry experience as a Data Analyst or equivalent)  
• Experienced user of Tableau, advanced SQL and databases in a business environment with large-scale, big data, complex datasets   
• Solid understanding of source data, its strengths, weaknesses, semantics, and formats; solid knowledge of logical and physical data modelling concepts (relational and dimensional)   
• Experience with building & maintaining business reporting and dashboards
