Waracle is looking for a Lead MLOps Engineer to join us on a greenfield digital project for a major Fintech client. You'll be working within a top team, using cutting-edge technologies to build best-in-class applications.


We pride ourselves in our remote-first ethos so this role can be based remotely from anywhere in the UK or from any of our 4 tech hubs (Edinburgh, London, Glasgow and Dundee). 

The Lead MLOps Engineer will lead a team of highly skilled MLOps Engineers, who are responsible for creating and architecting cutting-edge Machine Learning solutions. You’ll relish the challenge of having to solve complex problems and come up with brilliant solutions and products.


Some of the duties involved are:

  • Architecting new ML solutions on AWS and acting as the SME for AWS ML Services.

  • Identifying areas for improvement regarding model development and deployment.

  • Establishing new ETL patterns to enable data scientists and analysts to deploy new data objects.

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure for ETL workloads including ongoing architecture review.

  • Deploying new platform environments for other teams.


Requirements


  • Expert level skills with AWS and associated technologies (Lambda, Glue, Cloudwatch, Athena, etc)

  • Experience architecting new Machine Learning solutions, including supporting, maintaining and enhancing key data products.

  • Background working closely with a Data Science team.

  • Knowledge of Spark or Python.

  • Experience working within Financial Services is advantageous.

  • Ability to work across multiple teams and identify process improvement opportunities.
