Responsibilities:

• Support and advise internal teams on how to integrate big data into their projects and practices
• Find creative and elegant solutions to complex problems
• Collaborate within the Data Science team and with members of other teams
• Be an evangelist for Python, Ruby or Java and software engineering best practices
• Work in an agile environment where quick iterations and good feedback are a way of life
• Support ongoing efforts to improve data quality and ML model training automation
• Work with large amounts of structured and unstructured data.
• Write product or system development code.

Preferred Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or similar field.
• Proficient in either Python, Ruby or Java programming skills.
• Development experience in Python, Ruby or Java is a plus
• Experience with data storage and querying technologies such as Spark
• Fluency in SQL and database technologies
• Experience within Cloud Environment
• Be comfortable working in a remote environment
• Willingness to learn new things and ask for help
• A passion for code quality
• Basic understanding of machine learning fundamentals
• Proficient in Spark.
• Proficient in search technologies
