Data Analytics Tableau Expert

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in data analysis using Tableau, visualization/dashboarding, agile (scrum) methodologies, and project management. As a Tableau SME, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing data dashboards that provide actionable insights to our clients. This role demands a deep understanding of data analytics, excellent collaboration skills, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex Tableau dashboards and reports that meet the business needs of our clients. Ensure data accuracy, visual appeal, and functionality in all dashboards.
- Agile: Actively participate in agile (scrum) sprints, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products within the sprint timelines.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, provide expert advice on data, dashboarding, best practices, and ensure that delivered solutions meet their expectations. Foster strong, positive relationships with clients to promote long-term partnerships.
- Data Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge of data analytics to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights. Ensure that data sources are reliable and that data is presented in a clear and actionable manner.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple dashboarding tasks simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Use project management tools to track progress, manage risks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis/dashboarding. Tableau experience is a must. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex dashboarding projects.
- Agile Methodology: In-depth understanding of agile (scrum) frameworks including experience working in agile teams. Ability to lead and facilitate agile ceremonies as needed.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tableau, SQL, and other relevant data analytics tools. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and database management.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Tableau Certification, PMP, CSM) are a plus.

- In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be Authorized to work in the US

- Public Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and requires fingerprinting.
Other Information:
- The salary for this position is $80,000 - $130,000 annually
