Senior Data Analyst

We have an opening for a full-time, permanent Senior Data Analyst to join our talented, dynamic team in support of a large Federal Government customer.

This position will support the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) by providing services to complete data analysis, business process optimization analysis, and program support in an effort to validate current automation efforts in progress and to identify and justify future automation efforts. Primary duty station will be remote, however, you will be required to attend meetings and events at customer location as needed.

Duties

As a Senior Data Analyst supporting Maveris programs, you will be trusted to lead the delivery of our IT products and services. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Create, deploy and maintain a web-based user interface dashboard to allow for centralized access to visualization tools with analytics data from consolidated sources.
• Implement data analysis from multiple sources in support of automation efforts - create visual dashboards.
• Prepare and deliver to the customer an analysis findings report reflecting the current status of ongoing automation efforts and any other relevant information regarding problem areas and their resolutions.
• Provide analytical findings report supporting implementation of future automation efforts.
• Document, report, and maintain all past, present and future documentation (data) in support of all automation efforts.
• Create visual presentations supporting both in-depth and high-level review of current and future automation efforts.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience working with data analysis and reports creation
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline
• 8 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Experience with Salesforce commercial products
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team of peers
• Ability to rapidly prioritize competing requirements
• Ability to understand and simplify customer requirements
• Ability to communicate end user feedback to technical and design leads
