Senior Data Analyst

As our Senior Data Analyst, you are responsible for making Helloprint a more data-driven company where data is used to drive action in every team, every day. Depending on the team you will join, you will improve daily decision making and build automations using data, set the vision for our Pricing strategies, or are responsible for managing the product & carrier data of the European network behind our large and fast-growing product portfolio. In every team, we have a big amount of data at our fingertips with over 1,000 product groups, 10 million product combinations, 200 global and local carrier options, 300 production partners, and active business in 13 countries.

You coach junior team members to become better analysts and help stakeholders solve their own problems using our self-service data tools. You are ambitious and have the potential to grow into a leadership role within 12-24 months.

At Helloprint we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst for 3 teams: 

Data Analytics team

You co-define the metrics we use to steer our company and you surface key insights in order to improve them. You are a sparring partner to multiple teams, but focusing especially on growth, marketing, and the executive team.

You are a strategic thinker, but not afraid of picking up the trash yourself either. You are proactive in identifying opportunities, starting projects with business teams across Helloprint. You are able to clearly communicate complex, technical topics in a way that's understandable and shows clear suggestions for the next actions.

You collaborate with our Data Engineers to create data products that are used by teams across Helloprint: modeling data in our Data Warehouse, setting up event tracking on our website, creating critical reports and dashboards, and building impactful automation using our data.

Pricing team
As Helloprint's Senior Pricing Data Specialist, you are responsible for the commercial execution of our pricing strategies. Based on your research and analyses you are responsible for the optimization of our pricing models. You will challenge the status quo, you have experience in e-commerce (with dynamic pricing and/or experiments), and you can scale up processes. This will be a very challenging job: our business is in 13 countries and we have over 10 million unique products that require pricing. You know all the in's and out’s of the pricing business and you will make sure our product offering always has the most competitive pricing. You have the vision: where do we go with our pricing strategies? How can we improve our margins? You take the lead on setting our strategies and implementing these with the help of the team. 

Supply Data team

As a Senior Data Analyst within the Supply Data team, you're having a leading role in the team that is managing the product & carrier data of the European network behind our large and fast-growing product portfolio. With over 1,000 product groups, 10 million product combinations, 200 global and local carrier options, and 300 production partners, this is a huge amount of data! You have an important role and co-define the team's strategy,  tactics, and coaching the other data analysts in their Python and/or Alteryx projects and personal development to become better data analysts. On top of that, you take ownership of the complex data projects the team is working on.

Requirements

What we are looking for

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics;

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Business or other related technical disciplines (Master's Degree is a plus);

• Excellent analytical skills (SQL + Python or R highly preferred);

• Advanced experience with Excel; 

• For the role in the Data team; experience in website tracking (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Segment, Snowplow or similar tools) and data orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt);

• Experience with Alteryx is a plus;

• The ambition to grow into a leadership role;

• Experience with working on strategic challenges and collaborating with management-level stakeholders;

• A strong commercial mindset; you see opportunities and make sure we act on them;

• Experience in a scale-up and e-commerce setting is a plus.
