The BI & Analytics team is growing and looking to add a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to help us scale through our next stage of growth!

Location: We’re a remote-first company and looking to hire this person anywhere between the PST - EST timezone (except Quebec).

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the BI & Analytics Data Platform. Build efficient data models, incorporating data from various third party integrations, ensuring that needed data is made available and easy to query in the data warehouse using our modern data stack. 
  • Report & Analyze. Manage all aspects of the financial reporting models and related SaaS metrics across all business segments; create deep-dive dashboards using SQL, DBT, PowerBI and DAX that measure business performance; report back to the finance team to make sure reporting is accurate, automated and being used across the company for various use cases that help us get the most out of our business
  • Extract Patterns & Identify Opportunities. Use a variety of data sources to conduct exploratory analyses and identify trends to help prioritize our future roadmap.
  • Communicate & Present. Surface actionable insights and areas of opportunity to leadership teams that will help our customers and move the business forward.
  • Partner & Educate. Be the point of contact for all data-related and reporting, defining key business definitions and educating across all teams.
  • Iterate & Improve. Monitor the accuracy of our data sources, models and key metrics, and identify data gaps and areas of opportunity for automation.

Who you are:

  • Experienced. At least 3+ years of experience building complex data models.
  • SQL Expert & Technical Whiz. You know SQL and PowerBI like the back of your hand! You have experience with data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing. Familiarity with Python is preferred.
  • Passionate Data Explorer. You love number crunching and using creative solutions to conduct data exploration, leveraging strong reporting and data visualization skills.
  • Business savvy and a Learner: You have a strong business acumen - you are able to connect the dots of our data and provide applicable business insights. You also want to continue to develop technically to do the job as efficiently as possible, you’re inquisitive and have the desire to dig deeper into the “whys” behind our data.
  • Effective Communicator and Strong Collaborator: You’re capable of not just evaluating detailed datasets and figuring out what they mean, but also communicating these findings effectively to others in simple and understandable ways. You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure they have what they need to be successful.
  • Flexible and Organized Multitasker: You’re able to prioritize across multiple stakeholders and different initiatives based on potential impact.
