What will you be doing?

  • You have a passion for innovation and know how to use your engineering skills to give our clients a solid lead in the digital world. You will work in multidisciplinary teams on innovative solutions.

  • You will be working on cutting edge data technologies and will drive the strategic architecture, innovation and implementation of these to benefit our customers

  • You will work with clients and internal teams across all aspects of delivery, from initial scoping and pre-sales to architecture, design, implementation to hands-on delivery

  • You will contribute to Blue Harvest's vision and help us build our data innovation portfolio

  • You will help build up the UK data practice and have the opportunity to lead teams and mentor emerging talent

  • You will be part of a culture with a high bar of engineering and emotional intelligence standards where development paths are self-determined within a mentor-led environment to support and guide these growth opportunities.

Requirements

How do you qualify?

Well, we ask you to come prepared and would like to hear your story and see what you have in your “rucksack” already. Tell us about:

  • Your technical subject matter expertise and thorough hands-on experience in delivering on-prem and cloud data solutions
  • Your experience in enabling engineering teams to achieve their maximum potential, coaching/managing teams, and project delivery
  • Your expertise in concepts such as Data Management, Integration, Modelling, Metadata, Distributed Processing, Big Data, Data Quality, Master Data Management, API frameworks, Orchestration, Data Products, Analytical Tooling
  • Expert in one or more data related programming languages such as R, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Scala, Python or similar
  • Your experience with one or several of the big three Cloud providers and their components
  • Your views on the challenges encountered when building high-performance and near/real-time data solutions
  • Your views on working with agile delivery models and pro's/con's vs traditional waterfall
  • How you have used your communication skills to convey complex ideas and concepts to a diverse audience
