Digital Insight Analysts are required to join our Insight Teams to work on some of the world's largest, high scale eCommerce platforms and online customer journeys in our offices in Portugal (Lisbon and Porto). If you're looking to relocate to Portugal we can help out with visa and relocation; this would be a great opportunity due to continued growth and our ever expanding capabilities in Portugal.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Insight & Activation, you will be responsible for analysing digital behaviour in order to provide rich, actionable insight and recommendations to our clients. This is more than just an insight role; it’s an opportunity to help shape the digital strategies of the world’s leading brands and retailers!

About the job:

Due to continued growth, our capabilities in Portugal are expanding and we are looking for Digital Insight Analysts to join our team. This is a really exciting time to join us and work with some of the worlds’ best known brands and retailers such as Bosch, DFS, Johnson & Johnson, MAC, Nestlé, Sainsbury’s, Selfridges, Shell, Specialized, Tempur and Tiffany & Co.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Digital Insight Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating measurement plans that identify the customer behaviour to be tracked (you will work closely with our implementation analysts for this)
  • Establishing detailed reporting and visualisations that help our clients understand the performance of their digital channels
  • Using measurement tools to analyse visitor behaviour in detail, across a wide range of digital properties (websites, mobile applications, instore devices)
  • Creating detailed insight reports that cover key findings and recommendations
  • Presenting your findings to a senior-level client audience and helping them understand what it means for their business
  • Working with our internal UX and design teams to inform the creation of new websites and apps
  • Answering client queries and running training sessions with them

The techy bit….we need you to be really great at:

  • Solid experience working as an insight/data analyst, ideally in an ecommerce setting (client or agency)
  • Advanced practical knowledge of Google Analytics, ideally including its Enhanced Ecommerce functionality
  • A proven track record of delivering large insight projects for leading B2C organisations
  • Numerically adept in using Excel (or similar) to analyse data
  • Previous experience supporting junior team members
  • Extensive experience working with senior client stakeholders
  • Effective time management and multitasking abilities

If you know some of this even better!

  • Practical knowledge of visualisation tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau and Qlikview (or proficiency in using R or Python packages for relevant visualisation).
  • Experience working with any of the following tools is a bonus: Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SessionCam, Decibel Insight, ContentSquare, Optimizely, Monetate, Qubit, HotJar, CrazyEgg

In our Portuguese offices, you will join a team of other specialists who are always ready to help each other. The team is part of our Wunderman Thompson Commerce network and works in coordination with our Local and EMEA client leads.

We are proud of our multicultural environment and easy-going, yet dynamic atmosphere where we not only work together – we are great at having fun as well!

Please note that this job is a full-time position located in Portugal, but the selection process will be conducted in English.

If this role is aligned with your skillset, or that of someone you know, please get in touch.
