The Data Analyst is responsible for assessing complex data systems and programs in support of ad-hoc and business requests. The Analyst utilizes technical expertise to ensure data is accurate and high quality and presented to make strong business decisions. Required skills to successfully perform this position include strong working knowledge of PowerBI, DAX, and SQL. Additional (preferred skills) include PowerApps and Power Automate.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Create programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data. 
  • Examine data quality, applications, and functions. 
  • Research new data sources and analytical tools. 
  • Contribute to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation. 
  • Develop awareness of and familiarity with issues and events affecting Imagine, department, and/or customer. 
  • Use and support database applications and analytical tools. 
  • Provide accurate and appropriate interpretation of data, applying knowledge to evaluation, analysis, and interpretation of data. 
  • Develop appropriate methodologies for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data products. 
  • Develop useful and insightful information from a variety of data sources. 
  • Work with management and/or customers to develop and understand product specifications. 
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with team members and management, and communicates results effectively to management and/or customers. 
  • Deliver data products in report/presentation format, or verbally, to management and/or customer specifications and timelines. 
  • Point out system or process problems when noticed and engages the team in problem solving. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data sets. 
  • Proficiency with PowerBI, DAX, and SQL 
  • Familiarity with database management systems and data warehousing concepts. 
  • Effective communication skills to convey insights and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis. 
  • Ability to approach problems logically and methodically. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

 Preferred qualifications 

  • Experience with PowerApps and Power Automate 
  • Understanding of the specific industry or domain in which the company operates. 
  • Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends. 

The national pay range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000/year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
