We are looking for a Data Analyst who is confident in providing data and insights to our Customers and Internal Teams at ReturnLogic. Data Analysis is a critical part of our success and the success of our customers. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. This role requires heavy interaction with key business leaders across diverse teams to understand retailers’ daily operations and future goals. The information you collect will then have to be converted to reports and/or directly into the future state of the product. The main areas of focus for this role are data analysis, creating scalable reporting for Enterprise accounts, monitoring performance for accounts and design quality control plans to identify improvements. You will also work with the larger product team to advance reporting within our platform.
Responsibilities
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs to locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with various teams across the company to develop insights and analytics solutions for internal and external stakeholders
- Gather and organize information on problems, products, or procedures and present actionable data to customers
- Communicate and present analysis to internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with Customer Success Team to provide and present actionable data driven feedback and recommendations
- Contribute feedback to Product Team on product improvements to enhance customer engagement
Requirements
Must Have:
- Tableau Admin Experience, or with equivalent tools such as Power BI and DOMO
- Programming experience preferably Python (ETL, ELT, API’s, etc.)
- Advanced PostgreSQL queries and ad Hoc analysis
- Communication skills
- Strong attention to details and organizational skills.
- Contribute to a positive team environment of collaboration, customer empathy, equality and inclusion
Beneficial to have:
- Knowledge of ecommerce landscape
- Experience communicating data analysis and recommendations directly with customers
- 2+ years experience doing quantitative data analysis, ideally in ecommerce industry
