Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Data Scientist in San Mateo, CA to generate interpretable, meaningful models of human behavior to support personalization and targeted messaging, and to inform decision making throughout the company. Requires a Master’s degree in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, or related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience performing complex data analysis, data mining, data engineering, machine learning, predictive analytics, time series analysis and programming using Python. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience analyzing large, complex, high volume, high dimensional, sparse data to execute complex optimization tasks; developing predictive behavioral models; collaborating with business partners and subject matter experts to ensure that developed solutions are reasonable, practical, and meet business needs in a timely manner; improving in-house solutions for model development; and in executing duties, utilizing Pytorch, TensorFlow, airflow, pandas, NumPy, scikit learn, AWS and IoT services, postgres and NoSQL, GitHub and open-source packages.
