Data Analyst, New Verticals

Join Gopuff Operations as a Data Analyst where you will improve customer experience through the optimization of new vertical operations. Your primary role will be to verify, compile and assist with data visualization that can be used to glean business insights and make our operation more efficient. As part of the New Verticals Operations team, you will report to the Senior Manager of New Vertical Operations and work with merchandising, supply chain and field operations teams. You Will:

• Assists in the delivery of business intelligence dashboards for projects and pursuits
• Assists in the preparation of standard reports and technical work
• Ability to analyze large datasets in SQL, Python or similar tools, produce ad hoc queries, reports, and data
• Review query results for accuracy and anomalies and create data-driven recommendations to communicate with senior leaders
• Identify areas of improvement and conceptualize methods on how to be more efficient
• Operate autonomously while collaborating with partners and refine/standardize the data sets being used across all stakeholder groups.
• Excel in an environment with frequently changing goals and perform additional responsibilities necessary to the business

You Have:

• 2+ years of relevant technical experience 
• Bachelor degree or above in computer science, statistics, math or other relevant major preferred
• Solid analytical skills. Proficiency in statistical analytical tools, such as SQL and Python
• Ability to think critically, objectively, rationally. Reason and communicate in a result-oriented, data-driven manner. High autonomy
• Passion for process improvement and thinking creatively about dataStrategic perspectiveEffective communication skills
