Machine Learning Engineer

The Data Team acts as a central hub for asking analysis questions. We are a small team of developers and consultants who believe in impact driven work. We believe in democratization of data and are major supporters of knowledge distribution to empower the company. We don't shy away from getting our hands dirty whenever it comes to anything data and we demand critical and collaborative debate when tackling problems.
As a Machine Learning Engineer,  you will build predictive models and automate decision-making. You will lead all the processes from data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing, to training models and deploying them to production. You will work on varied subjects across the organization across different data models and stakeholders. This may include user analytics, financial modeling, portfolio optimization, operations volume forecast  and marketing campaign optimization. In addition, the Machine Learning Engineer may be tasked to lead other special projects from the Head of Data or Chief Risk Officer.

Skills and Expertise

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or related field (Data Scientist, Statistician)
• Deep analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in data mining, statistical methods, machine-learning or operations research
• Extensive experience in SQL, Python and its related libraries (Pandas, Scikit-learn).Experience in building Data Science pipeline from data collection to model training & deployment.
• Experience in deploying machine learning models, decision trees, survival analysis, time series analysis, neural network.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Background in Mathematics, probability, statistics; Master’s degree in Data Science is preferred
