This is a hybrid role. At Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened in accordance with local guidelines, and are following a hybrid model. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline.

In this role, you will:

• Be part of our growing lending team and help build risk mechanisms.
• Lead projects focused on risk mitigation while understanding Bluevine’s business objectives and enabling the product’s growth
• Conduct in-depth analysis for identifying high-risk applications and strategic opportunities.
• Present your analysis methods and outputs to both technical and non-technical managers and teams in Bluevine
• Define and develop end-to-end automatic decisions to mitigate risk, using a home-grown decisions engine.
• Work closely with other Bluevine teams - Data Science, Data Engineering, and Risk Operations

For this role you’ll have to bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in a quantitative field (i.e. Statistics, Engineering, CS, Economics)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• SQL proficiency 
• Advanced Excel skills 
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Team player with excellent communication skills

Bonus points if you also have:

• Hands-on python experience (with a focus on Pandas)
• Experience with BI Data Visualization Software's
• Background in Statistics
• Knowledge of financial market
• Experience in the credit domain
