Engineering is forefront in this charge as we look to automate and build out scalable and reliable systems to support our customers and counterparty banks. 

Lendi is looking for an experienced Data Architect to join our Technology team.

 

The Opportunity:

You’ll be a crucial member of our team. We value evidence-backed opinions and will have the opportunity to play an integral part in driving the technology team’s rhythm, culture and processes. This role will be pivotal in bringing together data platforms, processes and practices across Lendi and Aussie and ensuring Lendi Group has a strong data architectural platform to lead them on the next evolution of the business.  

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working with other architects and senior leadership to define the Lendi Group data architecture and strategy. Key points are reliability, Lineage, Governance and Integrity. 
  • Working with other teams to drive out top-quality data architecture and outcomes 
  • Working with the existing data tech stack (Airflow, Snowflake, Tableau, Fivetran, Segment, Kafka) and recommending value add solutions to enhance this. 
  • Working with diverse business units to define and architect their solutions in line with our enterprise architectural guidelines. 
  • Working with our Data Pipelines and Data and Analytics teams to optimise core data infrastructure. 
  • Collaborating as part of a cross-functional agile team 

 

What you’ll bring:  

  • 5+ years’ experience working in technical analytical or data architecture roles 
  • Advanced SQL scripting and modelling skills 
  • Advanced Python  
  • Understanding of Data Infrastructure as Code [Terraform] 
  • Familiarity with Tableau and Snowflake 
  • Familiarity with event-driven data experience 
  • A demonstrable ability to implement, maintain and manage databases and data warehouses (e.g.  Relational], NoSQL [DynamoDb], Warehouse [Snowflake]) 
  • Ability to work with others to design and architect data solutions 
  • Passionate about data governance 
  • A strong grasp on best practice and the ability to guide and mentor other members on the team 
  • A passion for building automated, fault-tolerant, and reliable data solutions 
  • A desire to continually improve the way in that you and your teamwork 
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with your team, managers, and stakeholders
