Data Collection Team Lead 

Are you ready to lead the charge in revolutionizing data collection processes for cutting-edge technology? LeddarTech is seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join our team as a Data Collection Team Lead. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the efficiency and quality of our data life cycle process. If you're passionate about driving innovation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and spearheading complex projects, this position is made for you. 

Responsibilities: 

• Contribute to the technical execution of the data life cycle process, including recording, slicing, and quality assurance, to optimize throughput and data quality. 
• Review and approve the team's work to maintain high standards of quality. 
• Evaluate current data infrastructure and devise plans to align with LeddarTech's business vision. 
• Provide recommendations to enhance tools, processes, and pipelines for the data engineering team. 
• Develop and update procedures for the entire data life cycle. 
• Enhance data annotation policies with support from algorithm and test teams. 
• Master annotation policies, tools, and methods to continually improve processes. 
• Collaborate closely with data engineering, DEVOPS, IT, and architecture teams to develop optimal data infrastructure solutions. 

Team Management: 

• Assign and coordinate technical tasks within the team, ensuring efficient execution of the data life cycle. 
• Manage project planning and activities with external annotation companies. 
• Define requirements for company tools related to data collection and annotation. 
• Conduct local training for team members on their responsibilities. 
• Provide input on managing resources and hardware requirements for the perception business unit. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, or a related technical field. 
• 3-5 years of experience in data operations and data management. 

• Proven experience managing teams of 10 or more specialists. 
• Startup experience is advantageous. 
• Familiarity with working in international settings. 
• Experience in complex project management. 
• 3+ years of experience in a technical role. 
• Experience working with international customers and partners. 
• Self-motivated with a passion for technology and a strong problem-solving ability. 
• Knowledge of software development, particularly Python. 
• Proficiency in data formats, robotics, calibration, and neural networks.
