What You Will Be Doing

The identifeye HEALTH Internship Program provides an opportunity for students and early career professionals to gain valuable industry experience, allowing them to develop technical skills, hone professional etiquette, learn from industry leaders, identify potential career paths and apply their academic knowledge.

Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to the exciting work happening within identifeye, build long lasting professional relationships with our team and most importantly - have fun!

As a Market Research Intern at identifeye HEALTH, you will be responsible for conducting market research and generating competitive intelligence using a variety of tools, including large language models (LLMs), competitive intelligence software, and internet databases. Your research will focus on key areas such as diabetic retinopathy, applications of artificial intelligence, fundus camera technologies, and the latest trends in journal publications and strategic market shifts. You will gather, analyze, and synthesize data from diverse internet sources, including news, publications, and academic journals, to generate actionable insights and competitive intelligence. Additionally, you will develop and optimize LLM prompts to automate the process of data collection and analysis, ensuring the delivery of timely market insights that support strategic decision-making. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to solve real-world problems and gain valuable industry experience.

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be to:

  • Utilize LLM’s, competitive intelligence software, and other software tools to perform market and competitive intelligence research by building prompts and scripts
  • Leverage external API’s, AI building tools and agentic workflows to perform market research and generate competitive intelligence from diverse online sources
  • Design and produce research reports with references that summarize findings in a clear, concise manner
  • Keep market research and competitive intelligence updated and provide deep dive analysis on select topics
  • Supplement identifeye’s market research efforts
  • Provide supportive materials for marketing collaterals

Internship roles are temporary, and will run for approximately 12 weeks. This role is based around a full-time schedule of 40 hours/week. Start date will be asap and end date can be flexible. 

What We Are Looking For

Baseline Skills, Experiences, & Attributes:

  • Current enrollment in or recent graduate from a MBA, Marketing, Data Science, Data Analysis or related degree
  • Knowledge and experience using LLM’s for market research and competitive intelligence purposes
  • Interest in product commercialization, marketing, and competitive intelligence
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to transform large amounts of data from various sources into clear insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Programming ability, and experience with AI technologies, particularly scripting, natural language processing, agentics and interfacing with API’s
  • Interest and/or background in healthcare technology is a plus

What We Offer

Anticipated Salary Range: $29/hour to $50/hour. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, operational needs, potential employee qualifications and other considerations permitted by law.
