About the Team & Opportunity: 

Responsible for improving upon data ecosystem for self-serve analytics, including serving as a thought

leader for data mart development. Improve data quality through tests, refactoring, and reviews. Work

largely in Looker to provide data-driven insights to teams. Develop a deep knowledge of our internal data

systems and an understanding of how to use them to operate Quartet efficiently. Identify opportunities to

improve care to patients, analyze usage patterns on our web products, measure effectiveness of new

initiatives, and expose company-wide insights to our leadership team. Contribute to our underlying data

infrastructure, writing SQL to support more complex analysis or new measurements as needed. Create

documentation for technical and not technical teams on data definitions and how to use the data. Develop

data quality tests while continuously reviewing, optimizing, and refactoring existing data models. Develop

and maintain dbt data models as well as Looker Models and Explores, using dbt, Looker, and Looker ML.

Evaluate and understand information gathered from multiple sources (healthcare claims, operational

tools, web application, and third-party data. Own analytics deliverables end to end, including data

integrity, analysis, validation, and documentation. 5% domestic travel required to visit customers and

attend company events.

Requirements:

This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field

and 3 years related experience. Must also have 12 months of experience with each of the following: 1)

Researching, designing, and developing new technologies to help companies leverage data to support

business functions; 2) Processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources and

establishing scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development,

model validation, and model implementation; 3) Managing metrics reporting and performing mathematical

and statistical modeling to produce business insights and analysis; 4) Utilizing database technologies,

including SQL and ETL, to design, develop, and evaluate highly innovative business intelligence tools and

automated reports; 5) Designing and building data models data marts utilizing dbt; and 6) Creating data

visualizations and analysis through Looker. 5% domestic travel required to visit customers and attend company events. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Will accept experience gained

before, during, or after Master’s degree. Full-time, position located in New York, NY
