Sr. Data Developer with Cloudera

As a Sr. Data Developer with Cloudera, You Will:

• Develop new tools, code and services to execute data engineering activities using on-premise Cloudera CDP platform
• Develop data ingestion ETL pipelines for extracting and storing structured and unstructured data in big data environments
• Collaborate with the team on new technologies and alternatives to plan and execute complex tasks
• Conduct work on the full-lifecycle of data engineering to include analysis, solution design, data pipeline engineering, testing, deployment and production support.

To Be Successful, You Need:

• Over 10 years of experience in Big Data development and a BS/MS degree in STEM-related field
• 7 years of experience designing Big Data solutions using Cloudera Hadoop technology stack including Spark, Hive, Impala, Hbase, PySpark, NiFi and Solr
• Strong development experience with Java, Scala and Python
• Experience with RESTful APIs, DevOps and Linux
• Cloudera Certified Professional certification is preferred
