Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Work on challenging fundamental Artificial Intelligence problems in areas of Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing and Speech Analysis.
• Propose and develop solutions independently. Research about state of the art solutions and novel methods to solve AI problems.
• Plan and execute the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources. Data cleaning at large scale using data warehouse, data-marts and cloud services.
• Continuous focus on enhancing the current models by new algorithms and data. Benchmark the solution with other vendors and top global solutions.
• Write white papers, scientific publications and conference presentations.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to identify and answer important product questions and propose solutions to them.
• Analyse, Interpret and communicate findings, risks to product managers and engineers.
• Work with associate data scientists to achieve the result faster with efficient collaboration.
• Publish python packages using best software engineering practices.
• Stay updated with latest SOTA researches in Artificial Intelligence and becoming a thought leader in the area of Emotion AI.

Requirements

• Masters or Ph.D. in a relevant field (Deep Learning, Machine Learning, computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or related field) and 3+ years of experience in relevant role.
• Or Bachelors in Engineering/Mathematics/Science and 5+ years' experience in a relevant role.
• Experienced with Deep Learning Libraries like Tensorflow, Pytorch and architectures like CNN, RCNN, LSTM, Transformers.
• Understanding of ML algorithms and data science libraries like Numpy, Pandas, Scikit and Matplotlib.
• A strong understanding of Probability and Statistics and basic calculus.
• Ability to use data from SQL/NoSQL sources and doing basic data manipulation.
• Expertise in Python and it’s best practices. Proficiency in software engineering practices like agile and Git.
• Strong communication skills for efficient collaboration
• Basic leadership skills to guide juniors in the team and being able to get solution delivered with effective planning.
