Analytics Engineer

[NOTE: This is a remote-friendly position, but extra bonus points if you're in Nashville, TN.]

As an Analytics Engineer you will be responsible for the full value-chain to turn data assets into useful information and insights. You will tackle data automations and ETL processes, collaborate with teammates to build sophisticated models, and create advanced but clear visualizations.

Priority focus areas include:

• Collect requirements from clients through workflow prototyping and analytics engineering, adjusting the requirements as fit through an engagement

• Deliver on project-based consulting engagements; help clients develop code-light automation

• Manage clients expectations by leading weekly status reports to clients; proactively solicit client feedback by running working sessions

• Partner with sales team to identify additional sales opportunities within a client; assist with account growth and expansion

Requirements

Technical Must Haves:

• 2+ years of relevant consulting experience including demonstrated expertise delivering analytics solutions, data analysis and preparation, and data modeling
  
• Proven experience partnering with clients to create scalable, durable analytics solutions including, but not limited to Alteryx, KNIME, Matillion, or dbt
  
• Knowledge of SQL and experience leveraging data warehouses and data marts
  
• Exceptional customer facing skills, including but not limited to communication skills and project management skills
  

Preferred Experience & Skills: 

• Experience in Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, Dataiku, Fivetran, and/or ThoughtSpot

• Experience with Python and/or R

• Previous experience leading teams of consultants to ensure performance, utilization and project delivery

• Data visualization skills and experience
