We love to explore and have a lot of fun along the way.We're hiring a Principal Data Scientist, reporting to the Principal Manager or Product Data Science.

What you'll do

• You will manage a multi-area within Enterprise platform analytics, with the possibility of having direct reports in the future
• You will dig deep into both performance and API data and usage data to connect the dots together quickly and communicate insights in a way that persuades action
• You will have the opportunity to shape the product roadmap
• Build relationships with strategy business operations to bridge the gap between the team's work to business metrics.
• You will look at product users to determine how engaged they are with the product
• Partner with product managers, design and engineers to measure product performance

Your background

• 5+ years of experience in an engineering/product performance/platform analytics environment.
• Understanding of front-end engineering practice
• Expertise in SQL and experience in Splunk/SignalFx
• Experience with usage data creation process and experience partnering with engineering teams for data tracking
• Turn complex findings into a compelling narrative and a set of actions
• Experience influencing decision-making using analytics
• Background in Engineering or quantitative subject (e.g. Mathematics, statistics, etc)
