We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full life cycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

Our client is a tech start-up based in Berlin with the goal of digitally connecting gastronomy customers with suppliers, so they can order more easily and efficiently.

Thanks to our client´s platform, users can network with local suppliers and coordinate ordering simply and quickly - with just a few clicks. They want to ensure that even in the age of globalization, a wide range of products is available, from crowd favorites to insider tips. At the same time, they want small and medium-sized enterprises to also benefit from digitalization - saving time, improving predictability and making the entire ordering process more efficient.

Tech stack: SQL, Metabase, Excel

Location: Kraków, Lublin, or Remote from EU/ Romania

Salary:

B2B: 12 000 - 16 000 PLN NET / 2 500 - 3 300 Euro Gross/month

CoE: 10 000 - 15 000 PLN NET / 2 000 - 3 100 Euro Net/month

Responsibilities

• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities;
• Creating dashboards (which are mainly SQL on Metabase)
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports;
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality;
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets;
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems;
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst;
• Understands basics of statistics and can analyze datasets with Excel (build basic pivot tables and apply filters and some functions and datasets);
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques;
• Experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), Metabase;
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc);
• Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy;
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings;
• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics;
• Business fluent in English – interest in German is a plus.
